Portion of Rayen Avenue in Youngstown closed for a week for sewer repairs

YOUNGSTOWN — Rayen Avenue, between Belmont and Fifth avenues, will be closed for about a week beginning Sunday evening so city workers can continue repairs to a collapsed combination sewer. Belmont also will be closed between Rayen and Arlington Street. Charles T. Shasho, the city’s deputy director of public works, said a detour will be posted.
