Poland man, 30 indicted in death of woman, 79

A Mahoning County grand jury handed up an indictment against a Poland man accused of causing the death of a 79-year-old woman earlier this year when the two, driving separate cars, were involved in an accident.
Kevin Rolland, 30, of Katahdin Drive, is charged with aggravated vehicular homicide in the May 11 death of Vera Gabrick. Gabrick was killed in a two-car accident at the intersection of Midlothian Boulevard and Hudson Avenue where she sustained blunt-force injuries to the abdomen. She was wearing a seat belt.
The indictment states that Rolland had been convicted of a prior traffic-related homicide in May 1997 when he was a juvenile. That case was handled in the Martin P. Joyce Juvenile Justice Center.
The list of indictments also includes indictments for 14 unnamed individuals for various drug related offenses.

Tanisha Wright, 29, South Portland Avenue, menacing by stalking, retaliation, intimidation and violation of a protection order.
Susan Frampton, 42, Forest Ridge and Briana Schaeffer, 20, Halls Heights, two counts of aggravated possession of drugs, possession of cocaine and possession of drugs.
John Buccini, 37, Fatima Drive, Campbell, possession of cocaine and trafficking in counterfeit controlled substances.
Quentin Jones, 23, South Jackson Street, receiving stolen property.
Willie Sue Samuels, 57, West Wood Street, possession of cocaine.
Andrew Kocak Jr., 30, Champlain, breaking and entering.
Gregory Burns, 38, Celeste Circle, burglary.
Jonathan Valentin, 28, East Avondale Avenue, improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle.
Kevin Peterman, 43, North Glenellen Avenue, domestic violence and abduction.
Robert Hallas, AKA Bobby, 27, Sierra Madre Trail, theft.
Eric Porter, 38, Burkey Road, theft.
John Garber, 49, Westminster Avenue, Austintown, theft.
Allison Buck, 24, Rush Boulevard, assault and harassment with bodily substance.
