Don Kratofil gave up an unearned run on three hits, striking out two and not allowing a walk. Dave Dilla led with two hits, two RBIs and a run. Tyler Alejars had a triple among his two hits while Nick Byce added two hits and two RBIs. John Diamond hit a double and drove home two runs. For Wharmby, Ernie Burkes had two hits and scored the run.

Rondinelli Tuxedo 15, Roth Brothers 11

John Weisman picked up the win in relief while Harrison Wagner led the Rondinelli offense with three hits, four RBIs and two runs. Jimmy Standohar had three hits and scored two times while Edmund Pilolli had a hit and scored three times. For Roth, D.J. Hight had a double and a triple, two RBIs and a run scored. Carter Rhodes scored twice while Nick Maillis added a double.

Mahoning Valley Knights 3, Champion 2

Jay Yorty had 14 strikeouts and the Knights used two unearned runs to take over second place in the standings. Andrew Beachy’s RBI double in the fifth gave the Knights a 2-1 lead and they added an insurance run in the seventh on two singles, a wild pitch and an error. Champion pulled within one in the seventh with two singles and two wild pitches and had runners on the corners when Yorty recorded his last strikeout to end the game.

P.I.& I. Express 12, Cardinals 2

Tom Jones and John Hauser each had three hits, including two doubles, and Express piled up 13 hits en route to the five-inning victory. Matt Shelton got the win. Tony Koch had three hits for the Cardinals.
