Catholic Collegiate awards scholarship to YSU junior

Scholarship presentation: At its annual scholarship dinner, Catholic Collegiate Association recently presented a $1,000 scholarship to Lamia Sassya, a junior premed student at Youngstown State University. Sassya is in Ghana with the team headed by Dr. Michael Obeng with RESTORE, which provides free services to abused children and battered individuals with deformities. Catholic Collegiate is an organization for Catholic women with degrees that aims to further the interest of Catholic education, promote friendly relations between Catholic and non-Catholic groups, aid the present Catholic welfare societies and develop a spirit of friendliness within its own group.
