Cr ºe at Covelli

Legendary rock titans M ∂tley Cr ºe launched their summer U.S. tour earlier this month in Dallas. The band, along with Poison and special guests New York Dolls, will perform July 29 at the Covelli Centre.

Fans will witness the iconic band’s new “360” vertical drum rollercoaster, which will feature Tommy Lee being launched into multiple vertical loops while continuing to perform.

The LEGO KidsFest national tour stops at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center from Friday through Sunday, bringing all of the creative hands-on fun of LEGO building and experiences together in this 125,000-square-foot activity.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $18 for children and can be purchased online at www.LEGOKidsFest.com.

Art in the Garden

WARREN

The Ohio State University Extension, Trumbull County, will have Art in the Garden, a juried art exhibit, at the Nissen Gallery at Trumbull Memorial Hospital from June 26 through July 20.

The jurors, Drs. Marianne and Rolf Nissen, are seeking paintings, photographs and assemblages of hangable art with a garden motif that celebrate the aesthetic value of the garden.

There is no size restriction.

Works should be delivered to the Nissen Gallery between 10 and 11 a.m. June 25 and judging will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Works will be hung from 1 to 4 p.m. All works must be wired and ready to hang and artists may enter up to three works at $5 each. On the back, attach a label with name, address, phone, title of work, media and price.

There will be a separate category for special-need adults. An opening reception will be at 2 p.m. June 26 with awards announced at 2:30 p.m.
