Free dry-cleaning of American flags

BOARDMAN

LaFrance Cleaners is offering customers free dry- cleaning services of American flags from now until the Fourth of July.

The “True Colors” program allows customers to bring their flags to any area location — Boardman, Canfield, Poland, Liberty or Youngstown — and have them cleaned and ready to display on the holiday.

“My grandfather, the founder of LaFrance, began cleaning flags for free immediately following World War II,” said Stephen Weiss, company president. “Our new ‘True Colors’ program carries on this tradition.”

Weiss said that for flags to be ready by July 4, customers should bring them in for cleaning no later than June 27.
