A summary of recent criminal activity in Hubbard, Liberty and Girard:

HUBBARD

June 7

Menacing: A Doris Drive man told police his former wife and several of her friends and family members have been harassing him.

Criminal damaging: A door to a business in the 500 block of West Liberty Street sustained damage.

June 8

Theft: Ohio Lottery books were taken from a business in the 800 block of West Liberty Street.

Identity theft: A Myron Street woman reported being a victim.

Theft: Items were stolen from a home in the 800 block of Elmwood Drive.

Possible breaking and entering: A woman noticed a broken rear window to a vacant residence in the 20 block of School Street. Another person reported seeing a crowbar in the kitchen.

June 9

Theft: A student at the Hubbard Community Pool, 250 Hall Ave., discovered her cellphone missing from her locker.

Theft: Police received a report of a stolen Wii game system at Roosevelt Elementary School, 100 Orchard Ave.

June 10

Theft: Shoplifting occurred at Circle K, 211 W. Liberty St.

June 11

Recovered property: Police in the 10 block of South Main Street found a 1994 Oldsmobile that had been stolen in Austintown.

June 12

Trespassing: Someone rummaged through trash bins belonging to a North Main Street business.

LIBERTY

June 9

Theft/drug paraphernalia: Police charged a 17-year-old Lake Milton girl with theft and possession of drug paraphernalia after undergarments had been stolen from Walmart, 200 Goldie Road. A glass pipe with suspected narcotics residue also was found, police said.

Arrest: Officers picked up 25-year-old Colleen R. Hake at the Mahoning County jail. Hake, of 3519 Ridgelawn Ave. SE, Warren, was wanted on a charge of failure to appear in court.

Arrest: Boardman police handed 46-year-old Brenda M. Reed, 421 W. Judson Ave., Youngstown, to township authorities. Reed was wanted on a warrant.

Breaking and entering: Someone pried open a rear door, then entered a home under renovation in the 3400 block of Fifth Avenue, though it appeared no property was missing.

Theft: A Biscayne Avenue woman reported the theft of a .40-caliber semiautomatic handgun.

Trespassing: Officers charged 44-year-old Gina M. Gasior, 916 S. Gray St., Youngstown, with criminal trespassing after a Crestwood Drive man said Gasior was on his property against his wishes and refused to leave.

June 10

Burglary: Through a side door to a home in the 5900 block of Belmont Avenue, from which a $300 portable air-conditioning unit was stolen.

Aggravated menacing: Iris Rosa, 64, of 1439 Townsend Ave., Liberty, faced an aggravated-menacing charge after a neighbor and her guests alleged Rosa had threatened to kill and set them on fire.

Arrest: The Ohio State Highway Patrol handed 24-year-old Eboni M. Williams to township police. Williams, of 22 E. Dennick Ave., Youngstown, was accused of failing to appear in court on a theft count.

Drugs: A traffic stop on Laurel Avenue led to the arrest of 36-year-old Michael C. Thompson, 141 Laurel, on two drug-related charges after authorities said they found two syringes, a straw and a spoon. Also arrested was Robert J. Kwiecinski, 31, of 166 Madison St., Campbell, who was wanted on a warrant.

Recovered property: Police recovered a child’s bicycle that had been left in the front yard of a residence in the 300 block of Mansell Drive.

Burglary: To a Trumbull Court apartment via a rear window. A flat-screen TV and a laptop computer were stolen, for a $1,200 loss.

June 11

Drugs: A traffic stop on Belmont Avenue led to drug-related charges against Jordan Kramer, 18, of 900 N. Ward Ave., Girard, and Joseph Augustine Jr., 19, of 24 Smithsonian St., Girard, when, police said, a pipe with suspected narcotics residue was found. Augustine also was charged with tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony, after being accused of tossing a bag of suspected marijuana from the car.

Arrest: Police conducting a vehicle check on Belmont Avenue took into custody 20-year-old Aaron M. Jones, 4410 McGuffey St., Lowellville, who was wanted on a township warrant.

Theft: Zachary E. Edwards, 18, of 2118 Robbins Ave., Niles, and 22-year-old Xavier J. Roberts, same address, were charged with stealing a $200 cellphone and related items from Walmart. Edwards also faced one count of complicity to theft.

Aggravated menacing: Glen W. Parker, 20, of 4000 Logan Gate Road, Liberty, was charged with aggravated menacing after being accused of threatening a police officer who had pulled him over on Ravine Drive.

June 12

Arrest: Austintown authorities handed to township police 55-year-old Keith E. Allen, 66 W. Marion Ave., Youngstown, who was wanted on a township warrant.

Theft: A $250 global-positioning- system device was taken from a vehicle parked in the 4200 block of Logan Gate Road.

Breaking and entering: Police responded to an alarm at Antone’s Banquet Centre, 3551 Belmont Ave., and discovered a drive-through window had been smashed. Nothing seemed to have been disturbed or missing, however.

GIRARD

June 10

Theft: A GPS unit was removed from a van in the 500 block of East Kline Street.

Assault: Four people, one of whom reported having been slammed to the ground, were in a fight in the 10 block of Olive Street.

Theft: A car stereo and a cellphone were stolen from vehicles in the 300 block of East Broadway Avenue.

Criminal damaging: Someone in the 200 block of Broadway Avenue threw a piece of asphalt and broke a window to a camper.

Breaking and entering: Someone broke into a home in the 500 block of West Liberty Street and removed a large-screen TV.

June 11

Burglary: Officers charged 37-year-old Gregory Hillier, 2491 Poplar St., Girard, with burglary after an East Kline Street woman reported awaking to find Hillier in her living room. The woman discovered $100 missing from her purse, a report said.

Menacing: A North Avenue woman told police a man followed her after she did her laundry.

June 12

Criminal damaging/trespassing: A Squaw Creek Drive man told officers another man entered the accuser’s residence and damaged a door by forcing it open.

Theft: An $80 battery and a radar detector were missing from a car in the 300 block of East Kline Street.

Theft: A $200 GPS device was taken from a vehicle parked in the 100 block of East Kline Street.

Theft: A wallet and an MP3 player were stolen from a car in the 300 block of East Broadway Avenue.

Arrest: Officers responding to a disturbance in the 100 block of West Second Street arrested Shane Click, 117 W. Second, on a warrant from the Trumbull County 911 center.

June 13

Stolen property: Police charged 18-year-old Melissa Dershaw, 2448 Mahan-Denham Road, Cortland, Amber J. Blose, 19, also of Cortland, and a 16-year-old boy with receiving stolen property after the three were accused of breaking into a car on Joan Avenue and stealing Xbox 360 games, an amplifier, a DVD player and other items.

Criminal damaging: Someone ransacked a vehicle and did $500 in damage to its center console in the 300 block of Forsythe Avenue.

Felonious assault: A man at St. Joseph Health Center, Warren, reported at least three males jumped, punched and kicked him near U.S. Route 422.
