Blagojevich jury in 4th day of deliberations

CHICAGO (AP) — Jurors are sorting through the evidence for another day at the retrial of ousted Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich.

today’s the fourth day of deliberations in the political corruption saga that began with the then-governor’s arrest in 2008.

Jurors sent their first note to the judge on Tuesday. It offered no clear indication about whether they’re close to a decision.

The note said jurors had different numbers of pages in one transcript of an FBI wiretap recording. The judge ordered an official to collect the extra pages.

Blagojevich faces 20 counts, including allegations that he tried to sell or trade President Barack Obama’s vacated Senate seat. He testified for seven days and denied all the charges.

His first trial last year ended with a jury deadlocked on all but one count.
