Big summer weekend planned near YSU campus

What’s being touted as the “biggest weekend of the summer” will take place July 9 and 10 on and around the Youngstown State University campus.

YSU Summer Festival of the Arts, Youngstown Jazz Fest, St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church Fest and Tour of the Valley Bicycle Races all will take place. And the events are all within two blocks of the YSU campus area.

A Greek festival with food specialties and music will lead off the weekend with activities July 7 and 8 and continue through July 9 and 10 at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 220 N. Walnut St.
