Pa. man not expected to testify in double slaying

WASHINGTON, Pa. (AP) — A man accused of killing his son’s mother and another man last year in southwestern Pennsylvania isn’t expected to testify in his own defense.

A jury on Monday heard a frantic 911 call made by 25-year-old Lynna Flippen a few hours before her body and that of a Pittsburgh jitney driver were found fatally shot last May.

Thirty-four-year-old Terrance Graham is charged with killing Flippen and 31-year-old Ernest Yarbough. Prosecutors say Flippen and Graham were in a long-running custody dispute over their 4-year-old son.

When police went to Flippen’s house after the 911 call they found blood throughout the residence but nobody home. The victims’ bodies were found in Yarbough’s car a few hours later. They’d both been shot in the head.
