Canfield woman arraigned today on vehicular homicide charges

YOUNGSTOWN — A Canfield woman charged with killing her unborn child and another woman while driving drunk will be permitted to wait for her trial date outside of Mahoning County jail, but she will not be permitted to drive.

Rachel Zorger, 25, of Calla Road, was arraigned today in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court. She is charged with two second-degree felony counts of aggravated vehicular homicide and one second-degree misdemeanor count of child endangering.

Zorger will be permitted to remain free on a $10,000 bond while she awaits her day in court, however, she will have to surrender her driver’s license to the court.
