State will auction cars, trucks Saturday

COLUMBUS

The State of Ohio will auction 147 cars, SUVs, trucks and vans at its surplus auction on Saturday.

The auction will be at 10 a.m. at the Ohio Department of Administrative Services, General Services Division headquarters, 4200 Surface Road. Gates open at 8 a.m.

The vehicles include a 2006 Mercedes Benz CLS500 seized by officials as well as a 2008 Chevrolet Impala, 10 2008 Ford Crown Victorias and two 2007 Ford Rangers.

Automobiles may be inspected from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day this week, but can only be started from 8 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. on June 17.

All vehicles are sold with no warranties and must be paid for in full on the day of the action.
