Audrey Detesco and Kris Nickell to wed in August

Mark and Diane Detesco of Boardman are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Audrey Detesco, to Kris Nickell of Boardman, son of Erik and Carol Nickell of Austin, Texas.

The couple’s open wedding is planned for 1:30 p.m. Aug. 20 at Calvary Baptist Church. A reception by invitation will follow at The Links at Firestone Farms in Columbiana.

The bride-elect graduated from Liberty University with a degree in business marketing. She is an independent sales director for Mary Kay Cosmetics.

The prospective groom graduated from Liberty University with a degree in business management. He is employed by Turning Technologies in Youngstown as a higher-education account executive.
