Two men shooting at police killed in crash

COLUMBUS

Authorities say two men shot at police officers outside a Columbus bar, then drove away and were chased by police. They crashed into a utility pole and both gunmen were killed.

Police say the men were kicked out of a club in northeast Columbus early today. Reports say that they began shooting at the officers, then got into a car and drove away. Police followed them for several miles into the northwest side of town. The men hit the pole, and both were thrown from the car. They were pronounced dead at the scene. Their names have not been released.

Police say no officers were hurt.
