Route 170 to be closed Tuesday

EAST PALESTINE

State Route 170 will be closed Tuesday during daytime hours south of the city for a culvert replacement.

Ohio Department of Transportation maintenance crews will replace the culvert at the bottom of a steep hill in preparation for upcoming resurfacing work.

Beginning at the intersection of Route 170 and state Route 154, traffic will be detoured west on Route 154 to state Route 7 north to state Route 558 east to state Route 46 south, back to Route 170, and reverse.

The road closure is expected to be one day from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
