GM Lordstown to shut down operations July 4 to July 18

General Motors Co will go ahead with two vacation shutdown weeks this summer, according to information from the United Auto Workers Local 1112 at the plant.

The shutdown, which is according to the company’s national agreement, will start July 4 and end July 18.

The factory produces the Chevrolet Cruze, the No. 1 compact car in the United States.
