Courtney Skruck became the bride of Mark Dever during a May 28 ceremony at Columbiana Heights United Methodist Church.

The 4:30 p.m. wedding of the Hilliard couple was officiated by the Rev. Edwin Lewis, and a reception followed at Heritage Golf Club in Hilliard.

The Devers traveled to Mexico for their honeymoon.

The daughter of Rob and Donna Skruck of Hubbard is an assistant vice president in wealth management for PNC Bank in Columbus. She graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and from Capital University with a master’s in business administration.

The groom, son of Ralph and Gail Dever of Beavercreek, Ohio, attended Sinclair College and is employed as an assistant property manager for Greene County in Xenia, Ohio.

The bride’s champagne-colored gown featured an Alen ßon lace overlay, a dropped fitted bodice and a modified A-line skirt. The chapel-length train was edged in scalloped lace.

Wearing chocolate-colored gowns were the matron of honor, Kristen Gomez; the bridesmaids, Chelsea and Christie Skruck, the bride’s sisters-in-law; Amy Robertson, sister of the groom; Jenny Lee; and Suzanne Rippel; and the junior bridesmaids, Ashlyn Robertson, niece of the groom, and Colette Skruck, niece of the bride.

Camryn Skruck, niece of the bride, and Aubrey Robertson, niece of the groom, participated as flower girls.

Best man was Adam Hilliard, and groomsmen were Todd and Robb Skruck, brothers of the bride; Chad Robertson, the groom’s brother-in-law; Byron Bedwell; and Matt Pfeiffer. The groom’s nephew Andrew Robertson was the junior usher.

Ring bearers were Carter and Cooper Skruck, nephews of the bride.
