Big Reach Center of Hope in Greenford linking local gardeners with food pantries

GREENFORD — The Big Reach Center of Hope has joined the Ampleharvest.org Campaign, providing a connection between local gardeners and food pantries.

According to a press release, this would allow food banks to collect excess fresh fruits and vegetables from local gardeners rather than stockpiling with canned goods.

Local food banks register their location and contact information on the Ampleharvest website making them a much easier find.
