Windham motorcyclist injured in Trumbull Co. crash

BRACEVILLE — Vincent C. Batton, 37, of Windham, was flown by helicopter with serious injuries to St. Elizabeth Health Center from the site of a single-vehicle motorcycle crash this morning on state Route 82.

The crash took place at 5:42 a.m. just east of Braceville-Robinson Road, near the former Braceville Township Fire Station, according to an Ohio State Highway Patrol press release.

Batton, who is in critical condition, was driving a 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle westbound on Route 82 when he failed to negotiate a curve and traveled off the right side of the road.

The motorcycle flipped numerous times, ejecting Batton, who was not wearing a helmet, according to the state patrol.
