Volunteer Council plans to sponsor fish fry in Warren

WARREN

The Community Volunteer Council will sponsor a fish fry from noon to 5 p.m. Friday at the Bruda Center, 235 Highland Ave.

Dinners will cost $8, and sandwiches, $6.

The money raised will enable the Community Volunteer Council, (CVC) to continue to serve low-income families in Warren and Trumbull County.

Meals include tilapia or catfish, macaroni and cheese or potato salad, green beans, coleslaw, cornbread or bread, fried apples and dessert.

The mission of the CVC is to volunteer services, to be informed and to inform the public about agencies and the services they offer, and to educate people about their rights.
