Safety Day program set Saturday in Bazetta

BAZETTA — The township police department in conjunction with Mosquito Lake Marina will have its ninth annual Safety Day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Mosquito Lake State Park.

Safety day includes fire department vehicles and representatives, police department vehicles and representatives, fingerprinting of children and a medical helicopter.

Booths from safety organizations such as the Youngstown Bomb Squad, Trumbull County Sheriff Dive Team, Trumbull County Hazardous Materials team, Birds in Flight Sanctuary and U.S. Coast Guard will be on display.

Free boat rides will tale place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Bicycles and other prizes will be given away.
