Passenger traffic at Pittsburgh International Airport grows
PITTSBURGH — Passenger traffic at Pittsburgh International Airport grew 2 percent in April, the 13th consecutive month of growth.
A total of 680,604 passengers enplaned and deplaned at the airport in April, compared to April 2010, which had a total of 667,372.
Year-to-date totals show scheduled traffic up 5.8 percent.
The Allegheny County Airport Authority, because of increased traffic and heavy summer travel months, is asking fliers to arrive at least 90 minutes prior to their scheduled departure time.
