Miss Martinko, Mr Turjanica to wed in 2012

The engagement of Audrey Martinko of Auburn, Ala., daughter of Gerald Martinko of Campbell and Mary Ann Carano-Martinko of Boardman, and Michael Turjanica of Port Orange, Fla., son of Joseph and Nancy Turjanica of Canfield, is being announced by their parents.

The couple will be married during an open ceremony at 2 p.m. July 21, 2012, at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown. Invitations will be extended for an evening reception to follow at St. Lucy Parish Center in Campbell.

Miss Martinko graduated from Ohio State University with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Italian studies. She is a lecturer of Italian at Auburn University.

Mr. Turjanica graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in biology and is pursuing a doctor of chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic.
