Christina N. Bilyk and David M. Hughes II, both of Columbus, are engaged and planning a summer wedding, her parents, Hank and Karen Bilyk of Niles, are announcing.

The prospective groom’s parents are Pamala K. and Rick Gambill and David Hughes, all of Sidney, Ohio.

The bride-to-be is a loss prevention supervisor for J.C. Penney in Columbus. She graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in criminology and earned a master’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Cincinnati.

Her fianc is employed as a logistics coordinator for Access America Transport in Columbus. He is a graduate of OSU with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

St. Anthony Church in Youngstown will be the site of the couple’s 1 p.m. open wedding on July 16. Invitations will be extended for a reception at Vernon’s Cafe in Niles that evening.
