2 men charged in Ohio in counterfeiting conspiracy

CINCINNATI (AP) — A federal grand jury in Cincinnati has charged two Florida men with smuggling hundreds of counterfeit U.S. $100 bills from South America into the U.S., hiding them in the headrests of rental cars and spending them as they toured the country.

Federal authorities today said 41-year-old Hilde Brando Uscategui and 21-year-old Stuart J. Rodriguez, of Miami, were indicted June 1. Rodriguez was arrested Wednesday. Authorities are searching for Uscategui.
