FOOD SALES AND DINNERS

THURSDAY

Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave. Ext., North Lima, will have a drive-through homemade chicken dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. (or until sold out). Dinners include stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a brownie. The cost is $6. Drive up to the door, and the meal will be brought to your car. To order dinners call 330-549-2588 or 330-549-5106 for pickup at a time you give or by 5:15 p.m.

Col. Louis J. Campbell VFW Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals will include meatballs, salad, bread and butter, and coffee. Cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 8. Carryout orders are $6.50 and will be available only until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.

St. Michael Orthodox Church, 125 Steel St., Youngstown, will serve homemade Chinese lunches from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursdays. This week’s menu will feature kung pao chicken or vegetable lo mein. The cost of the meal is $6. No reservations are necessary.

FRIDAY

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $9 for adults and $4.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005.

St. Anthony Church, 1125 Turin Ave., Youngstown, will be selling pizza and other Italian treats. Orders may be placed by calling 330-746-9577 from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. and must be picked up by 1 p.m.

SUNDAY

Shiloh Ministries will have a pasta dinner as a youth fundraiser from 1 to 3 p.m. at 1310 Shannon road, Girard. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Meals include meatballs, salad, bread, beverage and dessert. Takeouts will be available.

UPCOMING

Robbins United Methodist Church, 100 High St., Washingtonville, is planning its annual Strawberry Social from 4 to 6 p.m. June 18. The a la cart menu consists of hot turkey sandwiches; sloppy joes; hot dogs; potato salad; baked beans; strawberries with shortcake or angel food, with or without ice cream; coffee; and punch and iced tea.
