Warren school board selects its new superintendent

WARREN — The Warren Board of Education has selected its new superintendent: Bruce W. Thomas, current superintendent of the Marietta City Schools.

After the third round of interviews, Thomas was selected by the board as the top candidate for the job, according to a press release the board released to the media today.

The board's next step will be contract negotiations. In the upcoming week, the board plans to meet with Thomas to discuss the terms of a multiyear contract.
