Man shot in the arm on city’s lower North Side

Police are investigating a Tuesday afternoon shooting that sent one man to the hospital.

Police were sent to the West Lake Housing Development on Martin Luther King Boulevard at about 3:20 p.m. Tuesday for gunshots fired in that area. Police said it seemed as if someone chased a male victim while shooting at the unidentified man multiple times.

The man was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center for an apparent bullet wound to his arm. Police were looking to speak with the shooting victim Tuesday afternoon.
