Funeral arrangments set for New Castle serviceman
NEW CASTLE, Pa. — Arrangements have been set for Staff Sgt. Edward Mills Jr., who was killed in Afghanistan on May 26.
Mills, 29, of New Castle, died of wounds sustained after an attack in Kandahar province, military officials said. He was a member of the Army’s 101st Airborne Ranger Pathfinders on his third tour of duty in the Middle East.
Calling hours are from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. Services are at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
