Boardman woman pleads not guilty to traffic charges tied to fatality


BOARDMAN — A township woman pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from a weekend incident that left her boyfriend dead.

Billie Lee Mohr, 32, was in Mahoning County Area Court in Boardman this morning and entered here pleas to charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and driving without a license. She was released on $5,000 bond.

Police said that Mohr’s boyfriend, John Marr, 52, of Struthers, was visiting her residence at Chelsea Court Apartments on South Avenue around 5 p.m. Sunday when Mohr tried to drive Marr’s vehicle. Reports state the Mohr drove over Marr, who later died from his injuries at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
