A spokesman at a northwest Ohio amusement park says a rollercoaster has been shut down after seven people received minor injuries when two cars collided.

Cedar Point spokesman Robin Innes tells WKYC-TV and the Sandusky Register that a car coming to the end of the WildCat ride on Sunday crashed into another that was stopped at the coaster’s station. Innes says four people were treated at a first aid station and three were taken to a nearby medical center as a precaution and released.

He says the injured suffered bumps and bruises.

Innes says the park has notified the state Department of Agriculture, which oversees amusement park rides and safety.
