Matt Germanski doubled and scored a run for the Express, which got a four-hitter from Gino Ceriani. He struck out seven. J.W. Gora struck out eight for Roth, which got a pair of singles from Cam Onderko.

Mike Dunn pitched a three-hitter and struck out five for Dave Sugar. Colin McKee had three hits, including a double, while Nate Rusu had two hits. Dane Gecina hit a triple and Joe Ambrosini added a double.

Astro had 19 hits including three by James Coates. Two of those were triples, and he drove in four runs. Brendan Wells also had four hits, scored four runs and drove in three.
