Pa. man drowns after lawnmower rolls into creek

MCCONNELLSBURG, Pa. (AP) — A central Pennsylvania man is dead after authorities say his lawnmower rolled over and pinned him in a creek.

State police say 69-year-old Larry Houck died Saturday when the riding mower rolled on top of him in Well Township, Fulton County.

The Public Opinion of Chambersburg reports county Coroner Berley Souders determined the Robertsdale man drowned when he couldn’t escape from beneath the mower.
