Alice in Wonderland event will enchant Columbiana
The Columbiana Women’s Club has scheduled its annual Alice in Wonderland Tea and Garden Tour for June 17 and 18. One of the stops on this year’s tour is the garden at Barley Twists Antique Shop, owned by Alfie and Barb Farrand.
COLUMBIANA
Once again, the Columbiana Women’s Club will sponsor the Alice In Wonderland Tea and Garden Tour. It will be 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 17 and 18.
The gardens of Paul and Dawn Rance, Nora and William Salmen, and Alfie and Barb Farrand at Barley Twists Antiques will show how their use of plants and foliage enhance property within the confines of a busy city.
Herb and Joyce Botts and Jean and Richard Shellenbarger have taken advantage of their space in the country to expand their use of a variety of unique and beautiful plants.
The women’s club will be serving tea sandwiches and pastries during the day, and there will be the opportunity to browse the Mad Hatter accessory/jewelry/book sale and buy a raffle ticket for an Alice Alexander doll.
Tour tickets cost $15 and may be bought at the Next to New Shop, Vivian’s, The Columbiana Women’s Club or the gardens. For information, call 330-482-2832.
