Tickets go on sale June 11 for Manilow concert

Tickets for the Barry Manilow concert Aug. 27 at the Covelli Centre will go on sale at 10 a.m. June 11.
They’ll be available online at Manilow.com, and at Ticketmaster.com at the Covelli Centre box office or by calling 1-800-745-3000.
Front-row Manilow tickets are available only at www.FrontRowManilow.com.
Tickets prices are $87.50, $67.50 and $47.50 with limited VIP seating available.
Manilow’s 8 p.m. performance here, which will include many of his more than 40 Top 40 hits, is part of a four-city tour in which the singer-songwriter will be backed by members of the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra.
A portion of the proceeds from concert-ticket sales will be donated to the Panerathon, which benefits the Humility of Mary Health Partners Foundation in support of the Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Cancer Center.
Also as part of Panerathon Weekend at the Covelli Centre, on Aug. 28 the second annual Panerathon 10k/2-mile walk/run will begin at 10 a.m. Proceeds from that event will also benefit the JACBCC, set to open this fall at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Last year, the Panerathon raised $125,000 for the breast-cancer center.
“It is an honor to be part of bringing something this enormous to the Mahoning Valley,” said Sam Covelli, owner/operator of Covelli Enterprises, the founder of Panerathon.
“To have the ability to have these two great events in the same weekend to benefit a cause that will help so many women in the Valley is truly special,” he said.
As part of his four-city tour, Manilow is also scheduled to perform Aug. 24 in Toronto, at the Rexall Centre; Aug. 25 in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., at the Saratoga Springs Performing Arts Center; and Aug. 28 in Windsor, Ont., at Caesar’s Windsor.
