CANFIELD
May 23
Warrant: Police arrested Quentin Lester, 26, of Canton at Stark County Sheriff’s Office after he had been apprehended for failure to appear on a warrant for Canfield Mayor’s Court. He was later released and given a new court date.
AUSTINTOWN
May 23
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was scratched at a home in the 700 block of Purdue Avenue.
Assault: A 15-year-old was struck in the face by a person in the 1000 block of Compass West.
Theft: $73.23 in gasoline was stolen at Shell gas station, 4220 Mahoning Ave.
Drug offense: Police charged Kevin Weir, 33, of 4200 Pembrook Road, Apt. 9, with possession of marijuana.
Drug offense: Police charged Samuel Cianciola, Jr., 42, of 4470 Green Glen Drive, Boardman with possession of drug paraphernalia after his arrest in the parking lot in the 900 block of Compass West.
May 24
Theft: A GPS was taken from an auto in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.
Breaking and entering: An aluminum-scaffold plank was taken from Youngstown Mirror and Glass, 3991 Henricks Road.
Theft: Jewelry was taken at a home in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Drive.
Domestic violence: Police charged Jennifer Mazzola, 26, of 4329 Mahoning Ave., with the crime after her arrest at her home.
Theft: A laptop computer was taken at Austintown Pawn, 3700 Mahoning Ave.
Menacing: A woman was threatened by a suspect who threatened to burn down her house and assault her in the 4000 block of Plumbrook Drive.
May 25
Drug offense: Police charged Elizabeth Hooper, 20, of 8483 Yale Road, with possession of drug paraphernalia after her arrest at state Route 46 and Ashley Circle.
Criminal damaging: The hood of a vehicle had scratches on it at a home in the 300 block of Forest Hill Drive.
Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to a Visa debit account at an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Fraud: A bank account was accessed at a home in the 3000 block of Sandalwood Court.
May 26
Drug offense: Police charged David Dally Jr., 33, of 633 Russell St., Newton Falls, with drug abuse and possession of marijuana.
Theft: Money and jewelry were taken from a home in the 5000 block of Ashley Circle.
Theft: A woman’s Schwinn three-speed bicycle was stolen at a home in the 4000 block of Winthrop Drive.
Menacing: Neighbors were menacing another in the 2000 block of South Meridian Road.
Burglary: A home was broken into, and a television, coins and jewelry were stolen in the 30 block of South Kimberly Avenue.
May 27
Drug offense: Police charged Michael Faiola Jr., 27, of 1650 Lynn Drive, Youngstown, with drug abuse of heroin and drug paraphernalia after his arrest at Compass West apartments.
Disorderly conduct: Police charged Kayla Strange, 19, of 6593 Country Ridge Ave., with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct at Sheetz, 3713 Oakwood Ave.
Theft: $73.05 in gasoline was stolen at Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: A Cub Cadet lawn tractor was stolen from Home Depot, 6100 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A total of $9,500 worth of lottery tickets were stolen at Shell gas station, 4200 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A tire was cut on a vehicle at a home in the 4000 block of Lake Road.
Burglary: Copper waterlines were stolen at a home in the 3000 block of Timber Lane.
Theft: A stove, refrigerator and lawn mower were stolen by former tenants in the 100 block of South Edgehill Avenue.
Drug offense: Police charged Stephanie Anderson, 27, of 876 Compass West Drive with drug abuse of marijuana and child endangering after her arrest in the 800 block of Compass West apartments.
Burglary: Forced entry was reported at a home in the 3000 block of Timber Lane, but nothing was taken.
Theft: Items were stolen from an open storage unit at Austintown Self Storage,5370 Clarkins Drive.
Fraud: A wallet was lost, and a credit card in it was used at a home in the 5000 block of Cranberry Drive.
Theft: Gloria O’Grady, 44, of 4493 Mahoning Ave., was issued a summons for theft at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A cellphone was stolen at the Go-Go-Girls Cabaret, 5455 Clarkins Road.
Telephone harassment: A female caller was making harassing calls at a home in the 5000 block of East Rockwell Road.

Theft: A Dell computer was stolen from a vehicle at a home in the 2000 block of Idlewood Road.
Drug offense: William Truswell, 25, of 4746 Norquest Blvd. was charged with drug abuse of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia at Shotz, 3713 Oakwood Ave.
Attempted auto theft: An unidentified man attempted to steal a van in a driveway and left a gun behind at a home in the 6000 block of North Raccoon Road.
Theft: A Garmin GPS device was taken from an auto at a home in the 100 block of Idlewood Road.
Auto theft: A 2000 teal Pontiac Grand Am was stolen at a home in the 700 block of Carlin Drive.
Breaking and entering: A chain saw was taken at a home in the 70 block of Country Green Drive.
May 29
Disorderly conduct: Police issued a summons to Dylan Hartzell, 19, of 71 S. Anderson Road, for disorderly conduct at O’Donold’s, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Sharon Goff, 30, of 1612 Mahoning Ave., for possessing drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.
Theft: A pool pump was stolen at the Comfort Inn, 5425 Clarkins Road.
Burglary: A residence in the 600 block of North Raccoon Road was entered while the victim slept and a wallet, currency, a ring and a Pulsar watch were taken.
Menacing: A menacing report was made at a home in the 3000 block of Allendale Avenue.
Fraud: Unauthorized credit card charges were made at The Manor, 3104 S. Canfield-Niles Road.
Recovered property: A television, possibly stolen, was recovered at an apartment in the 20 block of North Wickliffe Circle.
Breaking and entering: Several items were taken from a home in the 3000 block of North Raccoon Road.
Burglary: A flat-screen television was taken at a home in the 300 block of Rosemont Avenue.
