Mallory Shields to be June bride of Adam Capretta

The engagement and wedding plans of Mallory Dawn Shields of Poland, daughter of Penny Jo and Gary Shields of Austintown, and Adam Joseph Capretta of Poland, son of Donna Capretta of Canfield and the late Ron Capretta, is being announced by their parents.

The couple will be married at 5:30 p.m. June 18 at Palmetto Dunes Beach Resort in Hilton Head Island, S.C., and will be honored afterward at a reception at The Dunes House, also in Hilton Head Island. Invitations have been issued.

A postnuptial reception will take place by invitation on July 2 at St. Maron Pavilion in Youngstown.

Miss Shields, a registered nurse at Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley in Boardman, earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Duquesne University.

Mr. Capretta is a self-employed personal trainer in Boardman after earning a degree in physical education at Malone University.
