Howland trustees begin search for new fire chief

HOWLAND — Township trustees voted to post the position of Howland fire chief on its website www.howlandtownship.org. Resumes are due June 13 and may be mailed to Howland Township, 205 Niles-Cortland Road NE, Warren, 44484, Attn. Darlene St. George, Howland Township administrator. Salary range is $70,000 to $79,000.

Fire Chief George D. Brown left the township after he was selected to become Boardman Township's chief last month.
