The Sakaras mark 50 years of marriage

WEIRTON, W.Va.

Richard and Susan Ann (Fergus) Sakara of Weirton, who were married July 15, 1961, at St. Dominic Church in Youngstown, observed their 50th anniversary recently.

The couple have two daughters, April Gilley of Cupertino, Calif., and Deborah Capito of Oakdale, Pa.

They are members of St. Joseph the Worker Church and Williams Country Club.

Mr. Sakara retired in 2001 from Weirton Steel Corp., where he was employed as a plant engineer. He is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
