NEW MIDDLETOWN

Ron and Bev Dugan of New Middletown are announcing the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Leslie Elizabeth Dugan, also of New Middletown, to Edmund Christopher Ickert, son of Edmund and Nora Ickert, all of Boardman.

The couple are planning a 2 p.m. ceremony Sept. 24 at Old North Church in Canfield, and their reception afterward will be at Mahoning Country Club in Girard. Invitations will be issued for both.

The bride-elect graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University and a master’s degree from St. Joseph College. She is a registered dietitian in intensive care at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

The prospective groom earned bachelor degrees in chemistry and biology from YSU, a master’s degree in chemistry from Case Western Reserve University and a doctorate in physical therapy from YSU. He is employed by Vrable Healthcare as a licensed physical therapist at Pembrooke Place in Youngstown.
