Bake sale to benefit world hunger group

SALEM

The Village Varieties 4-H bake sale will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Salem Farmers Market, State Street, downtown.

The proceeds will benefit Heifer International, a global nonprofit group that helps families out of poverty and hunger with gifts of livestock, seeds, trees and training.
