Rev. Manly to lead area revival services

AUSTINTOWN

The Rev. Ron Manly, pastor of Walden Chapel Baptist Church, Danville, Ala., will lead revival services in the Mahoning Valley.

He will share his testimony at 9 a.m. Sunday at Truckers 4 Jesus Truck Stop Ministry at the Petro Truck Stop in Girard and at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday at the Log Cabin Ministries in Austintown. Other services will be at 6 p.m. Monday through Wednesday at the Log Cabin.

The preacher/evangelist/missionary will travel to the area with a group of evangelists from Mississippi and minister at churches affiliated with the Steel Valley Baptist Association based in Warren. Participating churches are Carnation City Baptist Church in Alliance; Central Baptist Church in Niles; New Covenant Baptist Church in Lordstown; Shenango Valley Baptist Church in Hermitage, Pa.; Austin Village Baptist Church; and Christian Community Baptist Church, both Warren.

The visit is part of the Mississippi Revival Partnership that the local association has with churches in that area.

Sunday’s activities also will include refreshments, music and fellowship after the morning service.

Music at the Log Cabin will be provided by Frank and Bonnie Hetzel of Lake Milton, who are involved in local prison ministry; Terry and Diane McCabe, worship leaders at Austintown Baptist Church and McCabeBand with members Josh Lattanzi and Ron Cable of the worship team at Upper Room Ministries in Austintown. Jenah Ross Shank will lead worship at the Truck Stop service and assist with services at the Log Cabin.
