Downtown Youngstown convenience store/deli opens Friday

The area of West Federal Street in downtown Youngstown is bustling as new residents move in to The Federal Building, two restaurants set to open, and a nearby candy store moves to the main drag.

But on Friday, another long-awaited business gave itself a jump-start given the Italian festival crowd.

The Downtown Circle Convenience & Deli store was bustling just three hours after opening.

With plenty of work still to do, owners thought they might as well show off the store given the crowds.
