University of Mount Union, Alliance: Five area students were recognized at the second annual White Coat Ceremony. Courtney Burgess of Boardman, Colin Chambers of Youngstown, Kaili Amanda Gehring of Mineral Ridge, Olivia Myers of Berlin Center and Krista Yankush of Canfield are among the students who will begin a year of clinical rotations at hospitals, physicians’ offices and clinics.

Reinhardt University, Waleska, Ga.: Nicole Stark of Girard graduated in the spring, earning a bachelor of science.

Lawrence Technological University, Southfield, Mich.: Justin Fowler of Newton Falls graduated with a master of science in mechanical engineering.

University Of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minn.: Beth Hepburn of Southington, graduated with a master of arts in music education.

Muskingum University, New Concord, Ohio: Six Mahoning Valley residents recently graduated. They are Kevin M. Thompson of Boardman, Daniel Keith Dunn of East Liverpool, Matthew Bjelac of Newton Falls, Kiley Wright of Poland, Carrie L. Sanor of Salem and Maurice A. Smith of Warren.

Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wis.: Three area residents recently earned degrees. Lanny Cortez of Boardman and Brian Hivick of Cortland each earned his doctor of dental surgery degree and Bernard Mauser of Youngstown earned a doctor of philosophy degree.

Otterbein University, Westerville, Ohio: Jessica L. Barvitski of Canfield recently graduated summa cum laude.

Denison University, Granville, Ohio: Melissa Sue Huber of Brookfield earned her bachelor of arts degree, cum laude. She majored in theatre with a minor in psychology.

Ohio Northern University, Ada: Katelyn E. Amendolara of Canfield recently graduated with distinction with a bachelor of fine arts degree in art.
