Boardman Beeghly Oaks Skilled Nursing and Rehab facility celebrated its annual family day picnic July 16 with a luau on the beautifully decorated grounds at the facility.

Approximately 100 residents, family members and staff were greeted and provided with leis by the activity department.

Nic’s & Nic’s of Niles prepared chickens and roasted a 70-pound pig on the spit. Hawaiian-themed dishes and other sides were provided by the Beeghly Oaks dietary department, families and staff. The young and the young at heart enjoyed a 14-foot waterslide from Austintown Bounce. Other activities included a limbo contest, Beeghly’s version of a game from “Minute to Win It,” corn hole games and plenty of dancing.

Dancin’ DJ Kolis, who’s mother is also a resident at Beeghly, provided the music.
