ASSOCIATIONS

Mill Creek Chapter of ABWA will meet at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 9 at A La Cart in Canfield. The new officers will preside, and entertainment will be provided by the ROCcK Children’s Choir. The menu for dinner will consist of spinach salad, Swiss chicken, potato, vegetable and dessert; cost is $16. The group’s three scholarship recipients will attend as guests. CLASSES

Campbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1948 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Denny’s restaurant on Route 224, Boardman. All classmates and spouses are welcome.

Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1951 will meet for breakfast at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Landmark Restaurant, 7424 Market St., Boardman. Classmates and guests are welcome.

CLUBS

American Hungarian Club will have its annual members picnic from 1 to 4 p.m. Aug. 7 at the clubhouse on Donald Avenue, Youngstown. The main meal will be provided by the club; members are asked to take a covered dish. Cost is $5 for members and $7 for guests. Reservations can be made by calling Margaret Artz at 330-792-3731. Youngstown South Christian Women’s Club is having a “Twice As Nice” luncheon from noon to 2 p.m. Aug. 11 at Avion on the Water Banquet Center in Canfield. Guest speaker is Mary Haddad of Michigan, whose topic is “Survival and Success in the Search for Significance.” The cost of $13 includes lunch.
