Jewelry stolen from Telegold in Boardman

Police are investigating a break-in at Telegold, 8051 Market St., in which an unspecified amount of jewelry was taken.

Officers were called to the store aroundt 11:50 p.m. Tuesday and found the door window smashed and several display cases broken, reports stated.

A police dog was able to track a scent, but lost the track a few buildings away from Telegold, according to reports.

Police said it is unknown exactly what was stolen or the total value, but the business owner said engagement rings and earrings are missing.
