Train-truck clash snarls Meridian traffic

YOUNGSTOWN — A tractor-trailer that was bumped broadside by a train has blocked Meridian Road at Vestal Road, according to a Vindicator reporter at the scene.

The train's engine hit the truck, but the truckw as not toppled. Both Austintown and Youngstown emergency officials are at the scene.

Motorists are advised to avoid that area.
