CANFIELD CITY

July 12

False prescription: Randal McGraw, 41, of 440 Fairground Blvd., was arrested on charge of presenting a false prescription for Adderall at Giant Eagle, 525 E. Main St.

July 19

Warrant: Melissa Mills, 27, of 410 Benton, Salem, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in Canfield Mayor’s Court.

July 22

Shoplifting: Stacy McFarland, 35, of 17-C Hunters Woods Blvd., was arrested and charged with shoplifting at Giant Eagle. She was seen walking through the store placing items into her purse and left without paying for the $43.74 in merchandise. She was also served with a criminal trespassing warning for the store.

July 23

Warrant: Andre Evans, 27, of 432 Catherine St., Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear at Canfield Mayor’s Court.

July 24

Drug paraphernalia: Timothy Wilhelm, 20, of 2417 Belleflower Drive., Alliance, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, a multi-colored bowl with marijuana residue.

Theft: Matthew Beiling, 25, of 4190 Bob-O-Link Drive, Boardman, was arrested for allegedly stealing a bag of ice after paying for two large bags at $4.79 each, and taking three at the BP gas station, 599 E.Main St.

AUSTINTOWN

July 18

Theft: Money was reported taken from an account at a home in the 2000 block of Innwood Street.

Theft: A mailbox was taken from a home in the 100 block of Wise Lane.

Counterfeit currency: $15 in counterfeit currency was passed at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A purse was stolen and then recovered at Wal-Mart.

Theft: An notebook PC was stolen at Radio Shack, 5880 Mahoning Ave.

Drug offense: Cory Davner, 20, of 2924 Bears Den Road, Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Warrant: Aaron Drummond, 22, of 2416 Ridgewood Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant.

July 19

Lost or stolen: A dealer’s plate was reported lost or stolen at 5202 Mahoning Ave.

Bench warrant: Sean Page, 38, of 5800 Yorktown Lane, was arrested on a bench warrant from Mahoning County Court No. 4.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were reported at a home in the 2000 block of Vollmer Drive.

Recovered property: A wallet was recovered in the 700 block of Notre Dame Drive.

Theft: Groceries were stolen in the parking lot at Wal-Mart.

Aggravated menacing: John Habib, 46, of 36 S. Edgehill Ave. was arrested on a charge of aggravated menacing.

Warrant: Robert Kurian, Jr, (alias Robert Taylor), 51, of 2602 Birchwood Drive was arrested on a warrant on a charge of fleeing and eluding.

July 20

Theft: Unauthorized payments were taken from an account at a home in the 5000 block of DePaw Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A cell phone was damaged at an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West apartments.

Drug offense: Joseph Batovsky, 58, of 800 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown was arrested on charges of theft of a bottle of Snapple at Sheetz gas station, 8499 Mahoning Ave., trespassing and possession of marijuana.

Theft: Amanda Gerlach, 26, of 114 N. Osborne Ave., Youngstown, was issued a summons for theft of $68.90 in merchandise at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Breaking and entering: A vacant home was broken into and copper pipe was taken in the 1000 block of S. Roanoke Avenue.

Theft: Kerri Cameron, 23, of 130 Matta Ave., Youngstown was arrested for theft of $78.70 in merchandise at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Transient vender: Adam Umstead, 18, of 4889 Heritage Drive, Pipersville, Pa., was issued a summons for a transient vendor violation in the 5000 block of Kirk Road.

Burglary: Entry was gained into an attached garage in the 4000 block of Pine Trace Drive.

July 21

Disorderly conduct: Paul Curry, 21, of 42 Moore St., Struthers, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct at Perkins, 5550 Interstate Blvd.

Attempted breaking and entering: An attempt to pry open the rear overhead door was made at Smoker Friendly, 1643 S. Raccoon Road.

Criminal damaging: A window was damaged at an apartment in the 500 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Warrant: Robert Sudimak, 44, of 127 S. Main St., was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on alleged drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia charges.

Menacing: A male was threatened in the 4000 block of Falcon Drive.

Telecommunications harassment: Numerous calls from a collection agency were reported at a home in the 2000 block of Edgewater Drive.

Burglary: Copper was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Oakleigh Street.

Theft: A bicycle was stolen from a home in the 60 block of Rosemont Road.

Theft: A bicycle was stolen from an apartment in the 800 block of Compass West.

Burglary: Miscellaneous items were stolen after entry was gained through an unlocked sliding glass door at a home in the 1000 block of Paisley Street.

Criminal trespassing: Joe Gallagher, 27, of 1962 Brandon Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of criminal trespassing at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.

July 22

Warrant: Alexis Brown, 23, of 2345 Crescent St., Struthers, was arrested on a Trumbull County warrant.

Recovered property: A wallet and it’s contents were recovered in the 4000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Fraud: An ex-wife was using a deceased victim’s credit cards at a home in the 5000 block of London Drive.

Counterfeit check: A woman wrote a counterfeit check for $24,000 to open a new account at Huntington Bank, 1732 S. Raccoon Road. She took $3,000 out of the money and withdrawals were made from the account before the bank learned there was an alert on the check.

Breaking and entering: A television was taken from a home in the 1000 block of N. Navarre Avenue.

Breaking and entering: A refrigerated trailer was broken into at Cerni Motors, 5751 Cerni Place.

Sex offense: Ladaisja Brewster, 23, of 14580 Arizona St., Fontana, Cal., was arrested on charges of prostitution, soliciting and possession of criminal tools at the Sleep Inn, 5555 Interstate Blvd.

July 23

Warrant: Andre Edmonds, 27, of 967 Katherine St., Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant for a traffic offense.

Warrant: Michael Jenkins, 33, of 49 Matta Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant for allegedly possessing explosives.

Drug offense: Sammy Abu-Enjeela, 25, of 468 12th St., Campbell, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and Edward Navarro, 32, of 40 Clinton St., Youngstown, was issued a summons for marijuana possession at Shotz, 3713 Oakwood Ave.

Theft: A 2001 Great Dane trailer containing 38,000 pounds of baby food was stolen at Fyda Freightliner, 5260 Seventy-Six Drive, and later recovered empty in Dearborn, MI.

Theft: A wallet, keys, credit cards and an Ohio license were stolen at Home Depot, 6100 Mahoning Ave., and the credit cards were later used at the Southern Park Mall.

Theft: Nine rings worth $90.91 were taken and later recovered and Autumn Kolsky, 25, of 56 E. Judson Ave., Youngstown, was issued a summons at Kmart.

July 24

Drug offense: Justin Popp,18, of 3457 42nd St., Canfield, was issued a summons for drug abuse of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Assault: A male was choked by the ex-manager’s husband at Beach Shack, 5516 W. Webb Road.

Warrant: Tyrone Davis, 40, of 604 E. Dewey Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.

Criminal damaging: A car window was broken out with bricks at a home in the 4000 block of Washington Square.

Disorderly conduct: Jose Ramierez, 33, of 4493 Mahoning Ave., Apt. 20, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct at IGA, 4477 Mahoning Ave.

Menacing: Two females argued over dogs left in a car at Wal-mart.

Theft: A $5,000 diamond ring was reported missing from a house in the 4000 block of Forest Hill Drive.

Theft: A Glock 9mm handgun was taken from a garage at a home in the 3000 block of Edinburgh Drive.

Aggravated menacing: A threat was made to a victim at a home in the 2000 block of Elmtrace Drive.

Assault: A boyfriend versus girlfriend assault was reported at an apartment in the 1000 block of Laurie Drive.

Drug offense: Brian Rice, 37, of 2889 Red Fox Run, Drive, S.W., Warren, was released on a summons on charges including drug abuse and drug paraphernalia at the Ice House, 5516 W. Webb Road.
