New Bedford girl named NAM finalist

NEW BEDFORD, PA.

Jessica Wharry, 16, daughter of Edward and Sheila Wharry of New Bedford, has been named a finalist in the National American Miss Pennsylvania Pageant to take place Aug. 6, 7 and 8 at the Hilton Harrisburg & Towers, One N. Second St., Harrisburg, Pa.

Jessica will be competing in the Junior Teen age division.

Her activities include varsity cheerleading, varsity track and field, and Future Farmers of America.
